2/12/13 Honoring Lincoln's Birthday, Route 20 Chess Club will not be meeting  

Tournament Report

Last Saturday (January 19) the Route 20 Chess Club ran the "Bungle in the Jungle" tournament. Low attendance resulted in round Robbins for both sections. Winners in the OPEN were Ben Spinallo with 1st place, Jonathan Gaenzle with 2nd place, and Zack Kauffman with 3rd place. John Werkheiser was 1st overall in the RBO with Nadine Didier and Matt Werkheiser 1st and 2nd under 18.

on January 19 2013 route 20 chess club is hosting a tournament at building R at highland university the cost is 14 dollars for non-club members and 8 dollars for club members their are 2 sections open and rated beginners open registration from 9:00-9:45 round 1 for both will start at 10:00
open 10:00, 1:00, 3:30 with G/65 time control with a 80% cash prize for the top 3 winners
RBO 10:00, 11:15, 1:00, 2:15, 3:30 with G/30 time control players must be rated under 1200 trophies for top 3 players
